ATOSS is pleased to see you on this website and glad that you are interested in our company and products.
Collection, processing and use of personal details
We take your privacy very seriously and we want you to feel comfortable about visiting our website including all subsites and portals (hereafter referred to collectively as the "website"). The protection of your personal details is an important matter for us that we take into account in all of our business processes. Personal details are only requested, processed and used if there is a legal basis for doing so or you yourself supply them, e.g. as part of a registration process, survey or competition, a contact form, job application or to substantiate or execute a contract, or you accede to their processing or use for other reasons. Personal details are of course only collected, processed and used in compliance with statutory regulations pertaining to data protection.
Earmarking of personal data and transfer of personal details to third parties;
opportunity of objection
ATOSS uses your personal details collected via this website exclusively to process your orders and enquiries, for purposes of the technical administration of the website and for customer management, to the extent required in each case. For this purpose, ATOSS may also use sub-contractors who process the data on behalf of and on the instructions of ATOSS in compliance with statutory provisions. Personal details are only collected or transferred to official institutions and authorities in line with mandatory national regulations or on the order of the courts or authorities. All ATOSS employees are obliged by us to maintain confidentiality and to observe our guidelines and codes of behavior. Sub-contractors employed by us are similarly obliged to maintain confidentiality and observe data protection regulations.
We would also like to use your personal details to inform you of our products and services. This is done by post and/or email if you register for the ATOSS newsletter. We only use the data you supply on registration for the purpose of sending you information (newsletter or similar material). Your data will not be passed to third parties. The only exceptions to this rule are partner companies commissioned by us who are responsible for handling the technical aspects of dispatching the newsletter. In these cases, however, the extent of the data transferred is always restricted to the minimum required. Our data protection provisions comply with the Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz - BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (Telemediengesetz - TMG). Our partner companies responsible for handling the technical aspects of dispatching the newsletter are similarly obliged by us to observe the statutory provisions.
If you no longer wish to receive our newsletter or similar material, you can cancel the relevant service by simply clicking on the "Cancel" link contained at the end of all ATOSS newsletters.
At any time, you can also object in general to your details being used for advertising purposes by means of a declaration in writing or in electronic form:
ATOSS Software AG
Am Moosfeld 3
T +49 89 4 27 71 0
or by contacting us at email@example.com
We may also want to inform you of our products and services and conduct a survey of your opinion of them. Your participation in such activities is of course voluntary, and you are also entitled to object at any time to the use of personal details collected in the course of surveys by sending a declaration in written or electronic form to the a.m. contact address.
Data which we collect as part of an application, are only used for the application process and, in the case of the successful candidate, for processing a contract of employment.
Data collection, processing and use by third parties
The ATOSS website contains links to the websites of other suppliers not covered by this data protection declaration. We also incorporate buttons from other suppliers on our web pages. These buttons are initially deactivated; data are therefore only transmitted to these suppliers if you activate the button through your confirmation in the form of a single click. When activated, this button then connects to the supplier's servers and transmits the following data to the supplier concerned: your IP address, the address of the current website where you happen to be and an ID if you are registered with the supplier. With a further click you can then transmit the website’s recommendation to the relevant supplier. The supplier is responsible for the associated processing of the data transmitted.
Use and Disclosure of Personal Data – Ability to Opt Out
Upon request, ATOSS will make every effort to promptly inform you as to whether - and which - personal data from you is stored by us, in accordance with applicable law. If, despite our efforts to ensure accuracy and up-to-date data, incorrect information has been stored, we will either correct or delete said information at your request.
ATOSS employs technical and organizational security measures in order to protect personal data maintained by us against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons. Our security procedures are continually enhanced as new technology becomes available. Should you have questions regarding how your personal data is handled, you may contact the responsible ATOSS staff, who are also available should you need information, have a suggestion or wish to make a complaint. You may send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Session cookies These cookies are necessary to enable you to navigate on our website without having to register again for every section.
- Analysis cookies These cookies are used to track the preferences of website visitors and design the website to optimum effect on that basis. For the latter purpose, ATOSS has incorporated Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. ("Google"). The information generated by analysis cookies about your use of the website is usually transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the United States. However, if IP-anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be truncated beforehand within the area of Member States of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the whole IP address still transferred to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Google will use this information on our behalf in order to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity and provide further services for ATOSS relating to use of the website and internet usage. The IP-address conveyed by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be collated with any other data by Google.
When you visit our website, our web servers also store the name of your internet service provider, the website from which you visit us, the subsites and portals you visit on our site as well as the date and length of your stay."
