The Role

The Global Head of Solution Engineering will lead Atoss’ worldwide pre-sales function, ensuring the delivery of compelling, scalable, and customer-centric solution designs for enterprise and mid-market clients. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, this leader will build and guide a high-performing global team of solution engineers enabling Atoss to accelerate growth, win complex deals, and strengthen its position as the expert leader in workforce management SaaS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Strategy
    • Define and execute the global vision and strategy for Solution Engineering in alignment with Atoss growth objectives.
    • Lead, mentor, and scale a team of solution engineers and solutions across multiple regions.
    • Drive cross-functional alignment with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Marketing to ensure consistency in messaging and value articulation.
  • Pre-Sales Excellence
    • Own the pre-sales lifecycle: discovery, solution design, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts.
    • Ensure the team delivers industry leading solution presentations tailored to customer needs across enterprise, mid-market, and global accounts.
    • Establish best practices, playbooks, and tools to enable repeatable and scalable success.
  • Customer & Market Impact
    • Engage with C-level executives and decision-makers at key accounts, positioning Atoss as a trusted advisor.
    • Influence product strategy by providing structured feedback from market trends, competitive insights, and customer requirements.
    • Represent Atoss at global industry events, customer advisory boards, and executive briefings.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Implement metrics and dashboards to measure pre-sales effectiveness, conversion rates, and solution adoption.
    • Partner with Enablement to upskill the Solution Engineering team with the latest methodologies, domain expertise, and industry-specific use cases.
    • Introduce innovative approaches such as value engineering and ROI modeling to strengthen business case articulation.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience (10+ years) in leading global pre-sales, solution engineering teams within a B2B SaaS software company.
  • Strong background in workforce management, HCM, ERP, or adjacent enterprise software domains.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence C-level executives and lead solution discussions that drive multi-million-euro enterprise deals.
  • Track record of scaling high-performing international teams with operational rigor and talent development focus.
  • Deep knowledge of SaaS business models, sales cycles, and enterprise transformation journeys.
  • Excellent communication and executive presence, with fluency in English (German is a must).
