The Role 

Join our Design Team as a Working Student (approx. 20 hours per week), based in Munich with regular office presence.

Your mission: Build the foundation for our creativity

Creating structures sounds dry? Not when you’re the one who tames the chaos. We’re not looking for a “coffee maker”, but for an architect of our design infrastructure. Our design team is growing, and we need you as a solid foundation so the creatives can truly take off. You’re the operating system our brand runs on.

Key Responsibilities 

• The single source of truth (Design System): You’ll play a key role in building and maintaining our design system in Figma. You’ll create components, define styles, and ensure that “atomic design” is more than just a buzzword for us.
• Moving content support: We’re not just static. Since we produce a lot of video content, you’ll also get hands-on here – from rough cuts and animating assets to trying out the latest AI video tools. This is where you can unleash your creativity and bring variety to your day.
• Asset management, but deluxe: You’ll optimize our asset databases. No more “Final_v3_really_final.jpg”. You’ll establish clear naming conventions, tagging, and a structure where everyone (from Marketing to Sales) can instantly find what they need.
• Workflow hacker: You challenge existing processes. Where do we lose time? Where do we duplicate work? You’ll analyze our workflows with us and help make them more efficient – ideally also through automation.
• AI pilot: You test and implement AI tools for asset generation, tagging, or process optimization. You figure out how artificial intelligence can take the tedious work off our hands.

Key Requirements 

• You’re an enrolled student (m/f/d) in communication design, interaction design, media management, or a comparable field.
• Tool stack:
  • Must-have: You love Figma. Auto-Layout, variants, and components are not foreign words to you – they’re your home.
  • Basics: Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Plus: Basic knowledge of Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve is a plus, but not a must.
• Mindset: You are the opposite of a “creative chaos type”. You love order, structure, and consistency. If a pixel is off the grid, it makes your fingers itch. At the same time, you’re excited to get creative in the video space now and then.
• Tech affinity & AI: You’re not afraid of new tools. You enjoy trying out the latest AI features and thinking about how to use them in a meaningful way.
• Communication: You speak fluent German (and good English) and feel confident proactively suggesting improvements to files – even to experienced designers.
