The Role 
We’re looking for a Data Privacy Specialist (m/f/d) to ensure GDPR  compliance and AI Governance across our organization. In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for data privacy and AI governance topics, work in close collaboration with our Sales and Product teams, and be in regular contact with customers and prospects to address their questions and requirements. With your expertise, you will play a key role in shaping the privacy and AI development of ATOSS products and help drive forward our most defining initiatives. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

• Ensure compliance with GDPR,  and other relevant data protection laws and the EU-AI-Act
• Act as the primary contact for employees, customers, prospects, partners, and authorities regarding data privacy and AI matters.
• Work closely with Sales colleagues to support customer meetings, RfPs and contract negotiations on data protection and AI-related compliance topics.
• Draft and maintain key documentation for Privacy and AI compliance policies.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., I&D, Cloud Experts, Product, IT, Sales) to embed data protection and AI governance principles in workflows and ATOSS product features.
• Support internal audits, assessments, and documentation efforts.
• Conduct training sessions to raise data protection awareness.
• Analyze data protection incidents and help implement preventative measures. 

Key Requirements  

• Degree in Business Law or similar
• Solid understanding of the GDPR, hands-on experience with compliance practices and a strong willingness to learn more about legal and technical knowledge
• Basic knowledge in the legal fundamentals of contract drafting and interpretation of laws
• First touchpoints or strong interest in AI governance
• Advanced use of AI tools to drive efficiency in daily operations and workflows
• Certification in data protection (e.g., CIPP/E, EU-DSGVO, AI Officer) is a plus.
• Technical affinity, ideally with experience in SaaS or IaaS environments
• Open and communicative personality who enjoys promoting Privacy and AI across the organization and towards customers
• Detail-oriented and organized, with an ability to grasp complex processes.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English
