The Role 

We are looking for a customer-focused Team Lead IT Consulting Netherlands with strong leadership skills to join our growing team in Utrecht. In this role, you will lead and develop consultants, enabling your team to successfully implement, integrate, and optimize our software solutions while helping drive business growth outside the DACH region. You will combine strong consulting expertise with leadership, service excellence, and a clear focus on customer success, cloud transformation, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities
 

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the consulting team in the Netherlands, with overall responsibility for team performance and business expansion outside the DACH region with a focus on BeNeLux.
  • Take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the team, including priorities, resource allocation, utilization, and delivery quality across customer projects. Support cloud migration initiatives and the development of reference customers.
  • Act as the central leadership point for the team, providing direction and support in complex customer situations and operational challenges. Challenge the team to develop and deliver best practise solutions and guidance. Build a high-performing team culture focused on accountability, collaboration, service excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Coach and develop team members through structured feedback, development planning, mentoring, and strong role-model leadership.
  • Contribute to revenue growth through successful consulting delivery, strong customer engagement, and close alignment with Sales, Partners, and internal Stakeholders.
  • Promote the adoption of AI-supported approaches to improve consulting efficiency, scalability, and customer value across the team.


Key Requirements
 

  • 5+ years of experience in IT consulting and software delivery, including leadership responsibility in customer-facing environments as well as experience with implementation, configuration, project delivery, and project management.
  • Experience in customer contact and business relations in a Dutch context.
  • Completed university degree in business with technical affinity or in a technical/scientific field.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and service orientation, with a confident, reliable, and solution-oriented approach to customer engagement.
  • Solid understanding of current AI use cases in consulting, with the ability to identify and pragmatically integrate relevant opportunities for customers and internal processes.
  • Experience in coaching employees, supporting development plans, and fostering high performance through clear guidance and feedback.
  • Dutch, English and French are required; German is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel when required by the role.
